What is PassengerGuard all about?
PassengerGuard is an app that helps you understand and manage your fear of flying step by step. It is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and was scientifically supported by Ruhr University Bochum. The video gives you a quick overview before you dive deeper.
At the heart of the app is the Mental Flight — a guided mental flight simulation. You experience a complete flight, from boarding to landing, as an audio exercise with real sounds and calm explanations. This lets your nervous system get used to the situation in a safe environment before you actually take off.
In total, 8 modules with 36 lessons guide you through the training — from solid knowledge about flying to breathing and relaxation exercises and instant relief that also works offline in airplane mode. That way you have a companion by your side in every phase of the flight.
